The largest of the GE range, the GE105 has an output of 111kW (380,000 BTUs / Hr) and is 100% thermally efficient.
As a dual voltage machine, the GE105 can be used in various applications, ranging from construction, grain drying, localised heating, etc; as with any direct fired heater, the GE105 should only be used in a well ventilated environment. The heater can be switched between voltages quite easily; simply remove the cover from the voltage switch, change the switch to the required voltage, refit the switch, and change the power cable and plug to suit the application.
The GE105's large metal tank has a 105 litre capacity and is capable of supporting 12 hours continual running when used in the manual position (I); the heater can be used in conjunction with the Heavy Duty Thermostat (02AC582), by simply putting the main switch into position (II). The Heavy Duty Thermostat (02AC582) has a temperature range of -5/+50°C, and is supplied complete with 10 metres of cable as standard.
The combustion of the GE105 is controlled by the automatic control box, and incorporates safety features such as the electronic flame control device and the safety thermostat; the AISI 430 Stainless Steel Combustion Chamber is further protected by automatic post ventilation, which ensures that the chamber is cooled gradually before switching off - this is designed to avoid rapid expansion / contraction of the chamber.
It is quite common to connect the larger units to a bunded fuel tank, or an IBC (Intermediary Bulk Container); the GE105 can be converted to run from a single pipe system, aided by a tigerloop (air separator). Arcotherm will be delighted to advise accordingly.
